Description of the drug This is a widely available over-the-counter medication, the active ingredient of which is identical to the previous drug (Tylenol). • Active ingredient: paracetamol (Paracetamol) at a dosage of 500 mg per tablet. • Indication: Pain relief (headache, toothache, muscle pain) and fever reduction associated with colds. ________________________________________ Directions for use (based on the table on the packaging) The manufacturer specifies the dosage on the blister pack based on the person's weight: • Weight from 34 to 50 kg: 1 tablet per dose. • Weight from 50 to 67 kg: 1.5 tablets per dose (up to 5 times per day). • Weight over 67 kg: 2 tablets per dose (up to 4 times per day). • Interval: at least 4 hours should pass between doses (use only if symptoms occur). ________________________________________ Precautions • Check the label: Always double-check the physical label, dosage, and expiration date before taking any medication. • Liver concerns: Paracetamol puts significant strain on the liver. Do not exceed the maximum daily dose (4000 mg or 8 tablets per day for an adult) or combine it with alcohol. • Risk of duplication: Do not take SaRa with other cold or fever medications (powders, syrups), as they often also contain paracetamol, which can lead to a hidden overdose.
